Fees

My fee is $180 per 60-minute therapy session.

Some people prefer longer sessions (75-90+ min) for deeper work and trauma processing, such as what I offer with IFS therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, or Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. I am happy to offer longer sessions upon request, pro-rated at my hourly rate.

Autism and/or ADHD assessment fees vary depending on service; please reach out for more info.

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept check or debit/credit card via online payment.

Insurance

I am not in-network with any insurance companies, but am happy to provide a superbill (basically a medical receipt for services). You may be able to receive partial reimbursement for therapy by your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits and submit a superbill. You can call your insurance company to ask if you have these benefits.

sliding scale fee Spots

I offer a limited number of sliding scale fee spots.

These are held for folks who cannot afford my full fee and/or experience systemic marginalization based on their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, body size, religion, or disability. If you are interested in a reduced fee spot, please reach out to see if I have any available.

How to Find Low-Cost or Free Therapy

If you need a lower fee and my sliding scale spots are full, there are other ways to find affordable therapy!

  • Search online for “sliding scale therapy” and your town, city, county, or state

  • If you have insurance, contact your insurance company directly to ask for their help in finding an in-network therapist for you

  • Many counseling training programs in graduate schools offer free or low-cost therapy with counseling graduate students (such as OSU’s Counseling Clinic in Bend, Oregon)

  • If you’re a survivor of intimate partner violence, contact your local survivor support organization as many offer free or low-cost therapy to survivors (like Saving Grace in Bend, Oregon)

  • If you’re a survivor of sexual abuse or assault, RAINN is an organization that can help you find affordable services

  • Open Path Collective is a directory of therapists who agree to offer therapy at $30-60 per session, based on your income

  • Search online for local community mental health agencies (such as through your county or other government-funded or non-profit organization)

No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimate

In accordance with the Federal No Surprises Act of 2022, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your therapy will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients and clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for their services. You can learn more about the No Surprises Act here.
